We have been preparing for community spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Out of high caution we are CLOSED 03/16 to 3/22. We may remain closed beyond this period out of concern for everyone’s safety and due to guidance from the government. Our staff will be available to answer your calls. Eye emergencies will be addressed on a case by case basis. We expect a high number of phone calls so please be patient. You can also text our office at (863)455-9080. The entire Sanibel Eyecare Team continues to follow proper sanitation standards and practice universal precautions. We also put in place additional safeguards to protect our patients and staff. If you become ill or are experiencing symptoms, we ask that you stay at home and avoid social contact. Any Sanibel Eyecare staff member who falls ill will stay at home. We receive very regular updates regarding clinical standards and treatment protocols from trusted sources. With good information and decisive actions we can work together to slow the spread of COVID-19.
